He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Estella Stephens and his sister Mildred Stiffler.
Doug leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of 58 years, Olive Stephens, daughter Stacy Stephens, granddaughter Addison Stephens, brother Bobby Stephens (Mary Beth), brother-in-law Bill Wood, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 at Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith from 5-7pm. A graveside service to celebrate Doug’s life will be Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Blue Mountain Cemetery in Blue Mountain, AR at 2pm.
