Eddie "Butch" Neumeier

Eddie James “Butch” Neumeier, 78 of Claremore, OK, formerly of Fort Smith, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021. He was born on July 16, 1942 in Paris, AR to the late Edward Henry and Mary Lensing Neumeier. He was a retired electrical contractor for NORDAM in Tulsa. He was of the Catholic faith. He was formerly president of the Tulsa Rose Society for several years and served as a fire chief for the Claremore Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Judith Neumeier and a brother, Nicky Neumeier.

There will be a private family committal service at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

He is survived by a daughter, Janie Ensey of Van Buren; a son, Ed Neumeier and his wife Lana of Fort Smith; a sister, Sharon Weinsinger of Little Rock; two brothers, Bobby Neumeier and his wife Freda of Fort Smith and Vincent Neumeier of Florida. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
