Edna Fay Hernandez, 67, of Fort Smith, passed away on January 1, 2026. She was born on February 26, 1958, in Fort Smith to the late Edward Samuel Parks and Dottie Maddon Parks. Edna retired from Dixie Cup. In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by a son, Jeremiah Smith.
She is survived by three daughters, Erin Sutton and Melissa Smith, both of Fort Smith, and Karrie Cookhouse (Owen) of Canada; a son, John Wetzel of Fort Smith; eleven grandchildren: Damion Smith, Dereck Smith, Shayla Jauregui (Anthony), Andrew Smith, Ryan Austin, John Wetzel, Katie Fortier-Herdon (Geoff), Jessie Marker, Bethann Culley, Leah Culley and Ian Culley. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
