Edna Lou (Martin) Homan of Fort Smith passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She was born December 19, 1938 in Waldron, Arkansas. Edna worked at Lewis, Furr’s and Wyatt’s Cafeterias for many years. She was very kind to all and a ray of sunshine that will be greatly missed. However, she knew God and knew where she was going.
Edna is survived by three daughters, Cyndi Richmond and husband Dean, Terri Gothard and husband Johnny and Stacy Homon; one son Eugene Edward Homan, Jr.; companion and caregiver Carl Figueroa; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Edward Homan.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00pm at Edwards Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow Monday, October 25, 2021 at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
