Edwin Andrew Glass

Edwin Andrew Glass, 63, passed away on January 23, 2016. He was born in Fort Smith, in 1952, to the late Cecil and Eunice Ryles Glass. In addition, he is preceded by one brother, Charles. He was a Baptist and was one of the early students, of the Roger Bost School, and was associated with ARC of the River Valley. As a young boy, in 1963, Edwin lived very close to the site of new building that was under construction. He would go and watch the progress, and even became friends with the workers. The building was Midland Bowl, and it became Edwin’s favorite place to hang out. He loved to bowl and loved the company of the people. Edwin is survived by two brothers, Sam Glass, and Danny Glass of Fort Smith. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11am, at Fentress Mortuary, and interment will follow at Hartford Memorial Park.
