April 10, 1943 – September 13, 2021
"Where ever life plants you, bloom with grace." Faye Elaine Allen (Cosgrove, Holman) passed away on Monday, September 13th, 2021 after a brief battle with Covid-19. She was born in Coalgate, Oklahoma on April 10th, 1943 to parents, Preston and Faye Cosgrove of Arpelar OK, who preceded her in death. Also preceded in death was her brother, Dale Cosgrove. She Leaves behind her Husband, Hank Allen of Wilburton OK, as well as children Tom Holman (Adriana) of Atlanta GA, Debra Jakel (Larry) of Alexander City AL, Michael Allen (Sharee) of Clarksville TN, Teresa Pendergraft (Kelly) of Lawton OK, and Terry Holman (Vicky) of Baltimore MD. She is survived by sisters Lela Williams (Saint Gerry) of Kansas City Mo, Peggy McConathy (Saint Alfred) of McAlester OK, and brother Travis Cosgrove (Saint Peggy) of Arpelar OK. She was blessed by 9 grandchildren, Stephen Lockwood, Dr. Lisa Williams, Tara Holman, Daniel Jakel, Sydnee Allen, Kyann Holman, Kristoffer Pendergraft, Clay Kmecheck, and Randi Allen. She was also blessed with 7 great grandchildren. Elaine was an amazing lady who spent her life growing plants, children, and love with an unparalleled passion. Her sense of individuality and ability to touch those around her in a unique way was unrivaled. She will be missed by those that loved her and even those that didn't as the one thing she was not is a wallflower. With respect for her love of life and growth we ask that in lieu of sending flowers you let them live and bloom for all of God's creatures to enjoy. Instead we ask that you find those people in your life that are in need and touch their lives with the same generosity and grace that she so often gave to those around her. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the home she so beautifully carved out of the mountain and shared with her husband and family.
Private Family Celebration of Life

Uncle Hank and dear cousins, I was so sad to hear about Aunt Elaine's passing. I remember all her loving sweet ways thru all the years. How Uncle Hank brought her to meet us and she had that beautiful spirit that lit up her whole face. She was very giving to all that she came in touch with. Still cant believe she's gone but just know that while shes sleeping as Lazarus was and is, she will soon come back to life when Jesus calls her name. John 5: 28, 29 Love to all of you and hugs to all!

Elaine my beautiful, wonderful, opinionated, thoughtful, ornery Aunt. I will miss your wit, infectious laugh and beautiful smile. Your wonderful flowers were, and are a reflection of you. We will all miss you so much ....until we meet again, may God hold you and keep you in the palm of His hand.
