Ella Nadine Hargis, 86, of Spiro, OK passed away on January 26, 2022. She was born on March 24, 1935 in Knoxville, TN to Clifford Taylor and Nola Day Taylor. She enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her grandchildren and making sure everyone was fed.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 30 years Burl Hargis; one son, Denverd Hargis; three sisters, Lois Chase, Phyllis Wallis and Linda Massey.
She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Moody (Wayne) of Spiro, Darlene Christenberry of Spiro; six grandchildren, Shalene Woods of Spiro, Travis Christenberry of Spiro, Sherian Lewis (Jackie) of Pocola, Kayla Green (Jeremie) of Wilburton, Kyle Hargis (Kayla) of Spiro and Aaron Kimmel of Rogers, AR; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; four siblings, Dolores Reising of CA, Daniel Birdwell of OR, Opal Taylor of TN and Edith Richardson of TN; one special sister in law, Beverlee Curtis of Spiro; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be 2 PM, Monday, January 31, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home with burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, OK. Visitation will be 2 PM till 4 PM Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Lewis, Kyle Hargis, Travis Christenberry, Jeremie Green, Eddie Myles and Justin Permenter.
