Elsie M. Cavender, 92, of Hartford, AR, formerly of Barling, AR, passed away Tuesday July 15, 2014. She was born July 14, 1922 in Paris, AR. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Barling United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray G. “Jack” Cavender.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 18, 2014, at the Pavilion at Fort Smith National Cemetery with burial to follow under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
She is survived by her daughters Jackie Cavender, Carolyn Cavender, Sandra Cavender, Cathy Sue Cavender and Lisa Cavender all of Hartford, AR and Marty Edgerton of Barling, AR, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
