Emily was such a great coworker and friend. I remember the first time she introduced me to Carrabba's Italian Grill like it was yesterday even though it was in 2010. Also, she was a great mentor as well when I started working at Bryan College in 2009.
My condolences to Cory, the kids and the family.

It is difficult to believe it has been almost 32 years ago now that I walked onto the pool deck at Creekmore Park for my very first Tiderider swim practice. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was so nervous but there was this bubbly little blonde girl who made me feel at ease and explained to me what we were doing when I didn’t understand. We then spent the whole day at my very first swim meet in Paris AR playing together when we weren’t racing. I have never forgotten how welcomed Emily made me feel. I have thought of those days from time to time over the years and it was her kindness that has always made me smile at the memory. Emily, you are loved and you are missed. Sue, Stan and family I love you all and will continue to pray for peace and comfort.❤️🙏🏻

I have such fond memories of Emily when we were younger. We made tie dyed shirts of varying results, cooked food on the hob- oops don’t cook with plastic bowls, laughed at things we didn’t yet know or understand, and made up our own secret words- pinglepook! I’ll remember our carefree fun times and laughter. No doubt Emily is in a place where she’s smiling her beautiful smile. She’ll be missed but not forgotten and I’ll continue to cherish our memories of the time we spent together x

I am so terribly saddened by the news of Emily. So young and so beautiful.
As a teenager I remember Emily as a determined and focussed swimmer. A good friend to Kat. A lovely young person, inside and out. All of my memories of Emily are of happy sunny times.

I cannot imagine the pain that losing Emily brings. I hope and pray that God holds you all in the palm of his hand, and brings you comfort during these times. I am so sorry not to be with you all on Thursday.
