When Rodney passed , I was at the house visiting with the family. I was fortunate enough to be invited to play a game of skip Bo.
Evie was my partner… I had never played w a teammate before. I missed a play but she was watching me. I will never forget her facial expressions trying to get me to notice.

Just like Evie… always watching out for someone else. Probably the best cook I’ve come across… EVER. My life has been blessed by this family.. it is my honor to be considered her friend.
Evie… you will be missed, but you will forever be in the hearts of all those who loved you.
Rest In Peace until we meet again!

There are so so many memories and hard to pick one. Aunt Evie's house was and is full of love and acceptance. No one was ever considered a stranger. Food was always a part of every visit and lots of fun playing as a kid and the adults playing games. Irs been a while fir me but all the warm fuzzies remain. Thank you for being the loving, accepting, giving women God created. Sip beauty
