Fred Dunn

Fred L. Dunn, 77, was born February 12, 1934 in Oklahoma City, OK and he entered into rest on October 16, 2011 in Arkoma, OK. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps, was a former construction worker for Harris Construction, and was a member of General Assembly and Church of the First Born.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Rick Kester officiating. Burial will be in Gilliam Cemetery near Witcherville, AR under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2011, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.

He is survived by 3 sisters; Edna Oliver of Arkoma, OK, Alby Deffenbaugh of Meeker, OK, and Betty Jo Gipson of Idabel, OK, 4 brothers; Jimmy Dunn of McLoud, OK, Larry Dunn of Oklahoma City, OK, Harold Dunn of Broken Bow, OK and John Dunn of Omaha, TX. He is also survived by his special nieces and nephew; Ricky, Tammy, and Patricia Schalski. Other nieces and nephews are; Ricky and Debbie Schalski, Billie Roberson, Judy Rowe, Shirley Qualls, Linda Cooper, Ellen Cox, Tom Cox, Brian Cox, Jimmy Oliver, James Oliver, Tommy, Dorothy, Todd, and Jimmy Dunn, Sandy, Christina, and Larry Dunn, Glenda, Nancy, Dianne, Brenda, and Sharon Dunn, Leslie, Janice, Donna, and David Gipson, James, Lori, Martha, Cora Mae and Patricia Dunn.

Pallbearers will be: Ricky Schalski Sr., Ricky Schalski Jr., Brian and Tom Cox, and James and Jimmy Oliver.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Reggie Qualls and Tim Harris.
