Froilan Romero Torres, 82, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was born on April 2, 1943, in Abo, New Mexico, to Esiquiel Torres and Leonicia Romero. Froilan loved his family deeply and had a profound devotion to the Lord, and expressed his faith through music, which he used as a form of ministry. He shared his gift by playing at nursing homes, veterans' homes, and churches. Froilan also proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran.
Froilan is preceded in death by his parents, Esiquiel Torres and Leonicia Romero, as well as his brothers, Gilbert Torres and Zeke Torres.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Linda Torres, and his siblings: Art Torres, Nino Torres, Frankie Teasley, Rita Espinoza, Jerry Torres, and Gerald Torres, all of whom will carry on his memory with love.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Fort Smith National Cemetery, located at 522 Garland Avenue, Fort Smith, AR 72901.
