Fruella Sykes

Fruella Sykes, 87, of Central City, died April 2, 2012 in Van Buren. She was born February 28, 1925 in Barling, AR to William Franklin and Lela Emma Parker Smith. She was a Homemaker and member of the Central Freewill Baptist Church in Central City.

She is survived by two daughters, Paula Butler of Central City, AR and Brenda Mitchell of Irving, TX; two sons, Mitch Sykes of Fort Smith and Arnold Sykes of Irving, TX; one sister Emma Jean Breeden of Bond Special, AR; one brother, J.W. Smith of Central City, AR; and nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Clifford Sykes

Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Central Freewill Baptist Church in Central City with burial to follow in Barling City Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Wade & Randy Pursell, Stephen, Michael, and Grant Sykes, Eddie Butler, and Tim Lundquist.
