

Gerald David Fields, 81, of Fort Smith, went home to be with his Lord on May 28, 2016, in Fort Smith. He was born in Paris, Arkansas, on April 18, 1935. Gerald was the retired owner of Fields Radiator in Fort Smith. He was a Christian.
A private memorial service was previously held. Interment was at Roselawn Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Bessie Fields; his first wife, Edna; his sisters, Cordella Underwood and Betty Williamson; and his brothers, Blackie, Roy, Charlie, and Henry Fields.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Linda Fields; two daughters, Cheryl Fields of Fayetteville and Debbie Gould and husband Larry of LaBelle, Florida; one son, Gerry Fields and wife Elke of Dallas, Texas; two stepchildren, Bryant Walker and wife Michele of Fort Smith and Tanya Wilson and husband Wade of Owasso, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Amanda Hart, Joseph Hart, and Henry Fields; five step-grandchildren, Brett Sparkman and wife Allie, Miranda Wilson, Alaina Wilson, Grace Walker, and Faith Walker. Surviving siblings include Cleve Fields, Gene Fields, Bobby Fields, Juanita Harris, Dollie Brown, Becky Fields, and Wanda Moore.
Pallbearers were his family members. Memorial donations may be made to the Gideons.
