Gledis Jesus (Sifontes) Calhoun, 73 of Fort Smith, AR passed away on September 6, 2022. Gledis was born on May 30, 1949 to Armando & Puda Sifontes. She grew up in El Tigre, Venezuela with her five siblings. As a young adult she moved to Fort Smith, AR for college and lived the rest of her life here raising her two children Cassie and Armando. She was able to travel all over the nation with her job in sales helping many restaurants. Gledis was mostly found in the kitchen cooking delicious food and spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren.
Gledis will be missed by her children Cassie (Bob) Elwonger, Armando Calhoun, grandchildren Alec Elwonger, Cole Elwonger, Olivia Elwonger, Boun Viengthong, siblings Omar Sifontes, Alfredo Sifontes, and Maritza Gamble.
Gledis is preceded in death by her parents Armando & Puda Sifontes, and siblings Fanny, and Armandito.
