He was born on March 26, 1946 in Quincy, Illinois to Arthur and Addie (Jording) Dinkheller and grew up in Washington, Iowa. He is survived by his wife Ann, to whom he was married for 57 years, and their daughter Kristin Dinkheller. He is also survived by brothers-in-law Glen (Lee) Baker and Mark Baker, sister-in-law Keri Baker, his goddaughter Jennifer (Paul) Basseuner, and many nieces and nephews.
Glenn was a Vietnam veteran who served proudly with the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa and worked most of his career as a manager of fleet and facilities with Mosler Safe Company near Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fort Smith and enjoyed many camping trips with their Happy Campers group during his retirement.
A memorial will be held at First Lutheran Church, with visitation at 10:00 am and the service at 11:00 am on January 2, 2026.
