

Reverend Harley “Willie” Duncan, 77, of Fort Smith, died January 31, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born October 28, 1936, in Forester, Arkansas to the late Houston and Eva Singleton Duncan. He had worked for G&B Battery and served in the United States Air Force. Reverend Duncan had been a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God for over 40 years, was a long time member of Evangel Temple, but most recently had been a member of Van Buren First Assembly of God. He was preceded in death this past year by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Earlene Duncan. He is survived by his daughter Melissa Mason of Fort Smith; a son, Paul Duncan of Burnet, TX; a sister, Joyce Simpson of Fort Smith; two brothers, Larry Duncan of Fort Smith and Don Duncan of Dyer; four grandchildren, Andi Pass, Alex Duncan, Steven Mason and Tonya Shroyer; five great grandchildren, Chasittie Pass, Brayden and Starr Duncan and Kyle and Cammy Shroyer. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
