I knew Harley from my days as a deputy prosecutor and later, as city prosecutor. I also represented him in a lawsuit. He was a fine man and a very capable administrator of the service division of the police department. I also knew his brother Joe, although I did not know Joe had passed. It was my privilege to have known both.

A True and lifelong friend. Classmates through Waldron school system, football teammates for 6 years. We spent nights at each other’s home. A wonderful attitude, and a fun guy. We were great HS friends, and he was a fine QB,. So many memories, and sad to here about his passing. May God bless you Dorcus, and your family as you grieve the loss of your loved husband, father, brother and grandfather.

When I started first grade in 1961 my mom asked Harley, who was in high school, to make sure I was on the bus to ride home. When I got to where all the look alike buses were parked there he was with his hand on the side of the bus waiting for me. I can still see him standing there .

Going to miss my best friend! He and I have been deer hunting together for about 45 years. Really had some good times. I will cherish those memories. Just today I caught myself thinking, "Oh! I need to call Harley."
