Hawley ‘Eddie” Edmond Weldon, 69, of Arkoma, died July 3, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born January 18, 1943 in Atkins, AR to Cleveland Edmond and Autie Ellen Coffman Weldon. He was a retired employee of the Whirlpool Corporation, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and an active member of the East Side Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Dulaney and husband Tom of Rogers, AR., and Denissa Lea Williamson of Rudy, AR; one sister, Beverly Diane Sweazy of Spiro, OK; six grandchildren, Rachel Pack, Misty McCleod, Mandy Lewis, Stephen McCleod, Melea Williamson, and David Williamson; and five great grandchildren. He was also survived by a special cousin, Wayne Weldon, and a special friend, Jan Moore. He was preceded in death by one brother Mike Weldon.
Memorial service will be Friday July 6, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the East Side Baptist Church and private burial will be in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
