Helen Mitchell Furnas

Helen Mitchell Furnas, 104 of Ft. Smith passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015. She was born January 1, 1911 in Fort Smith to the late Eli and Dorothea Mitchell. She was a Methodist and retired from Arkola Sand and Gravel. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen Ora Furnas, her sisters Bettye Whatley and Elizabeth Butler, and her niece Phyllis Lofts.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery Pavilion. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

Helen is survived by her niece Dorothy Gramlich and nephew James Whatley both of Ft. Smith as well as several great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Rick Gramlich., Art Gramlich, Jay Lofts, Ricky Gramlich, Zack Gramlich, and Paul Lofts.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the funeral home.
