Helen Jane Hawthorne, 59 of Fort Smith, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012, in Tulsa, OK. She was born February 6, 1953 in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker and Nanny. She was a member of Bluff Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Ray Coble, mother Mary Rye and stepfather Charlie Rye, Sr.
Memorial service will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 20, 2012, at New Bethel Assembly of God Church, 2201 North 8th Street, Fort Smith, AR with Rev. Clifton Daggs officiating. Burial will be at Oak Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by one daughter Leeann Lunceford of Fort Smith, AR, three sisters Charline Rye of Muldrow, OK, Karen Daggs of Poteau, OK and Jackie Floyd of Newport, AR, one brother Charlie Rye, Jr. of Muldrow, OK, four grandchildren James Boyster, Travis Boyster, Perla Zapata and Rodolpho Zapata and three great grandchildren.
