Helen Marie Williams, 90 of Pocola, OK passed away May 23, 2018 peacefully in her home. She was born December 7, 1927 in Checotah, OK to the late Harry Lee (Jack) and Anna Wallace. She was preceded in death by her husband J C Williams of 74 years, her son Jimmy Don Williams, and her three brothers; Donald (Buck) Wallace, Robert (Bob) Wallace, and Johnny Wallace.

Helen is survived by her five sons; Bobby Joe Williams, Sr., James (Buster) Williams, Tony Williams, Sr. and Ricky Williams all of Pocola, OK, and Ronny Williams of Russellville, AR. Her three daughters; Judy Stephens of Las Vegas, NV, Hilda Stratton and Margaret Mitchell both of Spiro, OK and her five sisters; Lucy Scott, Dolores Ann Dotson and Carolyn Hurst all of Van Buren, AR, Mary Ann Gammage and Delia Pfaff of Ft. Smith, and two brothers; Roy Gean Wallace of Ft. Smith and Chuck Wallace of Central City, AR and her sister-in-law Pat Clifton of Gans, OK and her 18 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren and eight Great, Great Grandchildren.

She was a devoted Christian woman and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to quilt, and do ceramics, and she was everyone’s favorite cook. Helen also loved to go fishing and was the “official, one and only” family softball pitcher and referee.

Funeral service will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at the Ft. Smith National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Joe Williams, Jr., Blake Stephens, Andrew Plowman, Tony Williams, Jr., Johnathan Bowen, Larry Don Williams, and Robby Williams.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the funeral home.

I am Tony (Trey's) grandmother....I got to visit with Mrs.Williams a while and she told me the story and memory behind every picture on her wall...I loved every memory she shared with me and every verse from the bible she shared with me ..every visit i had with her was filled with loving memories of her family and the love she had for her husband...she was a lovely woman
