

Henry Dalton Frunk, 79 of Fort Smith, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013. He was born July 7, 1933 in Holly Creek, OK to the late William and Ida Frunk. He was retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer in 1972. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping and was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA). In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Sue Frunk, a step-son, Allen Detweiler, his sister Opal Hollingsworth, three brothers: Jephtha, Youell, and Ken Frunk, and his grandson Timothy Dalton Wilson.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery Pavilion. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
Mr. Frunk is survived by his wife Bea Frunk of the home, four daughters: Lisa Wilson and her husband Tim of Molino, FL, Patricia Pittman and Carolyn Locke both of Milton, FL and Karen Frunk of Australia, one son; Johnny Frunk; two step-children: Richard Detweiler and his wife Shangting of Plano, TX and Barbara Bower and her husband Pete of Fort Smith; one sister Katie, three brothers: Earl, Charlie, and Winfred Frunk. Mr. Frunk also survived by five grandchildren: Jacqueline Scharee Wilson of Molino, FL, Angie, Amanda, Amy, and Brandy Locke all of Milton, FL, as well as three step-grandchildren: Sandra Detweiler of Plano, TX and Travis and Lance Detweiler of Ft. Smith.
