Hilary E. Toon, III

have a memory or condolence to add?

Jeff aka “Beaver” Wood

June 30, 2018

My most sincere condolences and prayers to all of the family. Hilary was a huge part of my life back in our High School days. He gave me the nickname “Beaver” which turned into “Beave” and there were many people who didn’t even know my real name. One of my best friends ever, Way too many memories and adventures to share. He was a great friend and I am thankful to have had him in my life and that we were able to reconnect through Facebook. He will always be in my memories and heart. So thankful that we were able to get together the last time he was in Lompoc. I’m comforted by our last communication just a short time ago and know that he’s in a better place now. So sorry to all of the people grieving that loved him. He obviously left an impact on many people’s lives. Love you brother ... 🙏

I asked Hilary to teach me how to box, so I brought over a new pair of red SockerBoppers and Hilary had a pair of boxing gloves.... and I remember him and I going toe to toe 10 rounds boxing one another, we were so outta breath by the fourth round, each round consisting of 7 minuets, Hilary nailed me so many times knocking my butt to the ground, he laughed.... and would say “get up I’m not done with you” and every time I got back up, wham!!!! I’d be back on the ground... Hilary beat the hell outta me that day...Lol Hilary made me a little tougher and he taught me how to box after several bouts in the ring.....We actually talked about that one afternoon when we reconnected, Hilary & I had a good laugh.....Hilary you’ve touched many lives in many different’ll be missed !!!
Love 💕 you Hilary...

Hilary was my first boyfriend in high school. He use to hitchhike to come see me with his good friend Jeff wood. Both were goofballs but we had fun.
