

Holise Edward Cleveland, Jr., 79, of Fort Smith, AR, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. He was born on November 25, 1946, in New Orleans, LA to the late Holise Edwards Cleveland, Sr. and Rosalie Giordano Cleveland.
Holise was retired from the Maritime industry as a traffic controller. He was of the Christian faith. Holise enjoyed locksmithing as a hobby, he was a musician, singer and songwriter.
In addition to his parents, Holise is preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Borgard and a son Sonny Cleveland.
He is survived by two daughters, Jane Cleveland and Robbyne Cleveland, both of Fort Smith; six sons, Holise E. Cleveland, III of Mobile, AL, Shane Cleveland and Carl Cleveland (Whitney), both of Fort Smith, Paul Cleveland of Morgan City, LA, Brian Cleveland and Matthew Cleveland of Louisiana. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Jim and Shelly McLaughlin and their 2 sons, Jim and Mike remember Holise as their loving friend of 40 years - truly a member of their family. Jim, Shelly and Holise learned SCUBA diving together and dove FL and Cancun for years. They also spent awesome times in Gatlinburg in Cherokee TN. “You are at peace with God now. Give “mom” a kiss for us.”There are no services scheduled, cremation is under the direction of Edward Funeral Home.
