

Humberto Villanueva-Sanchéz, 81, of Lima, Perú, S.A., passed away Nov. 9, 2011 in Fort Smith. He was born Dec. 17, 1929, in Lima Perú. A member de la 3ra. Cuadrilla de Hermandad del Señor de los Milagros in Lima Perú and an Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Fort Smith member. He worked for over 50 years as a glass blower and retired from Southwestern Glass Company.
Family will visit with friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and a rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 12, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father Joseph Archibong officiating. Service and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Luz Villanueva; daughters Sonia Rasmussen of Miami, FL, Teresa Villanueva-Sanchéz of Lima, Perú, Gladys Rivera and Nancy Gallo of Fort Smith and one son Harold Humberto Villanueva of Fort Smith; two brothers, Vicente and Armando of Lima, Perú; one sister Mina of Lima, Perú, and 16 grandchildren: Brenda, Malena, Juana, Yankele, Cotis, Andrés, Alexander, Viviana, Ana María, José Jr., Melissa, Leonardo, Alfredo Jr., Erika, Iyanna, Yasmyn; and 8 great-grandchildren. Humberto is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends in Fort Smith.
