Irene Holland Thompson

was born on January 20, 1915 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Joseph Shelby Holland,Sr.

and Clara Elizabeth (Delap) Holland. She was preceded in death by her parents,

all seven of her siblings, and her husband, Frank Thompson.

She was the much beloved aunt of Ross Holland, Jr. (nephew)and Linda Mahan Lincks,(neice) great aunt to their children, and great-great aunt to their grandchildren.

Burial is under the direction of Fentress Mortuary with a graveside service to

be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, September 20, 2013 at Barling Cemetery. Rev. Joshua Willadsen of Bethel Lutheran Church will officiate.
