Jack L. Smith, 82, of Fort Smith, passed away May 16th, 2016. He was born on December 11, 1933 in Garibaldi, OR to the late Albert Dudley Smith and Ines Mary Smith. He was the owner of Smith Sandblasting and a member of the Lutheran Church. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Friday at the Pavilion at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith with Military Honors with burial to follow at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; daughter, Jacqueline Beal and husband Jeffrey of Council, ID; son, Dustin Smith of Fort Smith; sister, June Jones of Springfield, OR; brother, Irven Smith and wife Donna of Covington, GA; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren..
