Jackie Lee Gage

Jackie Lee Gage, 58, of Arkoma passed from this life February 6, 2022 in Arkoma. He was born April 5, 1963, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Pete Gage and Elena Birdsong Gage. Jackie was a welder by trade, but a pastor by calling. His last congregation was at Bethel Baptist Church.

Jackie is survived by his daughter Alicia Brunner and husband David, and their children, Aubry and Roselyn; son Heath Gage and his children Abigail and Logan; three sisters, Tammy, Diane and Sarah; two brothers, Robert and Larry, and a cousin as close as a brother, Todd Briggs, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his son Scottie Lee Gage and his adoptive mother, Doris Benefield.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, February 18, 2022 at Arkoma First Baptist Church, with burial following at Cross Cemetery in Greenwood. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
