Jackie Geren Stapleton, 92, of Fort Smith, died February 5, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born September 11, 1920 in Fort Smith to Andrew Jackson and Beulah Beatrice Van Cleave Geren. She was member of the Central Presbyterian Church and retired from the Missouri Public School System.
She is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Albert Stapleton.
Graveside service will be Friday, February 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
The body may be viewed Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm and on Friday from 8 am until noon.
