James B. Casey, 74, of Van Buren, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026. He was born on September 28, 1951, in Oklahoma City to the late Dr. James G. Casey and Betty Jean Bryant Casey. James was a University Professor and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was of the Christian faith. James was smart, outgoing, he would talk to anyone, and he always had a smile on his face.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Casey; two sons, Patrick Casey and Carl Casey, and a grandson, Trevon Thomas.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at the Committal shelter of the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
