James Douglas “Mac” McDaniel, 72, of Fort Smith, died April 22, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born October 30, 1939 to the late Paul Matthew and Alma Parker McDaniel. He was retired from the paint department at Whirlpool, a member of Fort Smith Baptist Fellowship and served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife Twyna Ritter Mc Daniel of the home; step-son and wife, Kurt and Teresa Terry of Van Buren; a brother, Paul Dean McDaniel of Loving, OK; a grandson, Wesley Terry of Fort Smith; two great granddaughters, Kaylee and Ella Terry of Fort Smith as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Stanley McDaniel.
Visitation will be Monday, April 23, 2012 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Edwards Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 24, 2102 at 12:00 noon in Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
