I was so sad to learn about your passing. You were one of the finest man I’ve ever met in my life and it was an honor to have known you. I know that heaven opened its doors wide for you and I know that you already took charge.Thank you for always being there. I can’t say that about too many people but you were one that was always there for everyone. I don’t believe there was too many finer men that walked the face of this earth. God bless your family God bless you and the blessed life that you lived.  Now I know that you went on to bigger and better things and you truly were an inspiration to many.

James was an awesome co-worker and friend. He was always a pleasure to work with and always made you laugh.

James has been a great friend of mine since i was a young man growing up in Missouri. He and my dad have been friends for a long time and I had the privelige of knowing him and we Hunted together for as long as I can remember. I know he touched a lot of people's lives and will be missed terribly. He was a man of his word and was respected by all that knew him.My heart goes out to the entire family for this tragic loss.

James, I will always remember you as being a man of hard work and dedication. I will mostly miss your smile and silly sense of humor.

My thoughts & prayers to the family.  I met James around the early 80's when I worked for City National.  I visited with him regularly for 20 yrs & he was a favorite customer of mine.  Fun to talk to & laugh with.  He will be missed.

James was a wonderful person and friend.  My heart is saddened and I can't imagine how Stella and all of his family feel at this time but my prayers go out to them.

You will be  greatly missed by your Mercy and ROi families!  I will miss you most as a friend.  I am so greatful for having had the chance to know you.  My thoughts and praryers are with your family as I know you loved them above all else.

James you will be missed in Springfield Mo. Though we never met "in person" , your kindness came through loud and clear on the phone. It was a pleasure to work with you. James was an outstanding man and changed the life of everyone that had the honor of knowing him. I started to work for James at the Wal-Mart DC when I saw 18 years old and had the honor of working for him for 19 years. Still to this day I use the things I was able to learn from him in my day to day life and the way I treat and respect others. A great man and person that touched so many lifes.

Mr. James - when we at the the sleep lab started at Mercy you always went out of your way to make us feel welcome and made sure we had whatever we needed.  You were one of the kindest and most genuine people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.  I'm going to miss talking about our mutual hero - John Wayne.  Say 'hello' to The Duke for me - I'm sure you're swapping stories now,,,Heaven is richer today because you're there...

I had the pleasure of working with James at Mercy Hospital.  He truly was one of the kindest individuals I have ever met.  He always had a smile on his face, a kind word on his lips and a helpful, caring spirit.  He will be missed so very much!  My thoughts and prayers are with you, his family.  May you feel God's loving arms around you giving you a peace and comfort that surpasses all understanding!

I will certainly miss James. He was a constant in my worklife. I always knew I could depend on him to help me when I had purchasing questions. He would go out of his way to make sure I had an answer. He was the perfect example of all the Mercy Values.My prayers go out to his family.

James you were one very speacial man to me.you helped me through my ordeal when all the while you were ill.it hurts my heart to know there was nothing I can do to help you and I'm truly sorry for that. GOD BLESS YOU you are missed.

My heart goes out to you for your loss of James. I was very sad to hear of his passing. I met James when I worked at the Walmart Shoe Division and quickly found out that he and I were raised in small towns in OK about 12 miles apart - such a small world. James was such a kind, smart, and well respected man. I never heard an unkind word about him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
