James Findley, 86, of Fort Smith, passed from this life on December 21, 2020. He was born on September 8, 1934 in New Blaine, Arkansas to Samuel Lawrence Findley and Ruby Cravens Findley. James worked for James River Dixie until his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church. James was a past president of Fort Smith Wild Life Club, he loved the outdoors, sports and spending time with his little dog Jack.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Findley; one son, Jim Findley and wife Diane of Philadelphia, PN.; one brother in law, Clyde Cole, Jr. of Tulsa, OK.; one grandson and two great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 1 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine, Arkansas. Viewing will be 1 PM till 2 PM Monday, December 28, 2020 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
