Jane and I played many hours growing up in Slater. We lived next door on Elm Street. Her mom, Mrs. Pollard, was also my first grade teacher. Janie and I would cut paper dolls, climb a few trees, play ball with all the neighborhood kids on an empty lot close by. Get in trouble for jumping on the bed. If Janie wasn't there I would still go over sometimes and trace Mrs. Pollard's handwriting. I thought Mrs. Pollard's handwriting was beautiful.
We liked playing on the front porch with our dolls when it rained.
Those are all happy memories from my early childhood. Later on I would see Jane at an occasional high school reunion.

Sending so much love to Jane's family. Sorrow takes such a long time to soften. You, Jane's family and friends, will be in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourselves and be patient.

Fondly remembered, Mary Kay Gamby White

Jane, we will miss you! We always enjoyed when you and Chuck would stay at our house. Your love of cards AND HORSES, and your little fur babies will be treasured. I was sad that we couldn't get together last year or this year. Love to you, We will see you again in heaven someday. ❤

The horse community is really going to miss Jane. I remember meeting her for the first time years ago in Forth Worth at IALHA Nationals. She's been a supporter and friend ever since. We love you dear friend. Rest easy riding all the beautiful ponies in heaven. ♡
