She loved gardening and fishing and instilled in her children her strong work ethics. She survived many hard illnesses but never lost her joy of life.
She worked at Esquire Jewelers and Civil Service first at Ft. Chaffee and retired from Ft. Sill as supervisor finance and accounting.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband William H Walkord. She is survived by her 3 children Robert (June)Walkord of Jacksonville, Florida, William (Bill) Walkord, Grapevine, Texas, and Kathryn Ann Cullen of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri; Grandchildren Ed (Tonya) Cullen, Michael (Shelley) Cullen, Christine (Greg) Stangel, Robert Walkord, and Ken (Jennifer) Walkord; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
