Janet Faye Flota

Janet Faye Flota, 61, of Fayetteville, passed from this life on December 21, 2020. She was born on May 9, 1959 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma to parents Earlean and Lester Maxwell. She was the youngest daughter and second youngest of 11 brothers and sisters.

Janet attended Bokoshe High School and was an alumni member. She was a scuba diver, wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt, cousin and mom to many extra kids. She had a kind and giving heart. I remember our favorite Christmas was one of giving to others.

She is preceded in death by first husband, John King; son, Jackie Maxwell; brothers, Tommie, James and Eddie; her parents and father in law, Thurman.

Janet is survived by her loving husband, George R. Flota; two daughters, Jennifer Aguinaldo and husband, Tony Aguinaldo, Georgia Flota; three sons, Jeff and John Flota; Brian Haugaard; grandchildren, Sierra Ruettgers, Tyler Aguinaldo, Adrian Aguinaldo and Kalleigh Maxwell; four sisters, Carolyn, Priscillia, Barbara and Nancy; three brothers, Bill, Robert and Richard; a bonus sister Pennelifa.

Funeral service will be 2 PM, Monday, December 28, 2020 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 2 PM till 4 PM, Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
