Jay Hamilton Buell went home to be with his Lord on the morning of August 14, 2023. He was 82 years old. He was born April 21, 1941 in Fort Smith, AR to Charley and Ruth Buell. He was a retired truck driver with FedEx, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jack and David. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Carolyn of the home, two daughters, Leslie Buell and Audra Buell Winters (Gerald) of Fort Smith, one granddaughter, Tracie Jordan Riddle (Josh) of Smyrna, GA, one brother, Jim (Suan) of Austin, TX, his dear friend Tommy Jordan, eight nephews and five nieces.
There are no services scheduled, cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
