I remember when Mike played in the midget league, Mr. Cartwright would be so nervous he was pacing up and down the fence. He and his wife always had a smile on their face. They really appreciated the Fort Smith Boys and Girls club. As a volunteer at the club, he was a tremendous asset to his friend, J W Loyd. He will be missed greatly by his friends and leaves a legacy for many years to come.

Our prayers go out to Barbara and the rest of the family in the death of J.C. The years together at Central Baptist were very special and J. C. was a special person.

I always loved talking baseball with J.C. Cartwright. I remember when he helped coach at the Boys Club with Jerry Kerwin and J. W. Loyd. I admired his dedication in helping raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy. Prayers of comfort and peace to Barbara, Mike and Susie.

J.C. It was a distinct pleasure knowing you first as a friend and then as a customer. You are remembered fondly.
Thank you.

J C always greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel special. He was a wonderful neighbor and we hated moving away from him and Barbara. His sense of humor will always be a wonderful memory. We will always treasure him in our hearts. Vivian White
