Jeanette Taylor

Jeanette Taylor, 67 of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013. She was born on July 24, 1946 in Alexandria, LA to Elzie and Myrtle Simmons Kees. She retired from AT&T in 1987 as a group manager and later worked for Wal-Mart as a personnel manager. She was a member of Haven Heights Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Elzie Kees. A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with a visitation immediately following the service. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. She is survived by her husband James, of the home; two daughters, DeAnn Hopson of Fort Smith and Staci Smith of North Little Rock; a son, Rick Taylor and his wife, Jennifer Dishner Taylor of Sherman, TX; her mother, Myrtle Kees of Pollock, LA; a sister, Debbie McKay of Dry Prong, LA; a brother, Gary Kees of Hot Springs and four grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Hayden, Gracie and Lucas Taylor.
