Jeffrey Allan Dixon, 62, passed from this life January 28, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born May 2, 1958, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, to Alfred and Shirley Sider Dixon. Jeff was a 1976 graduate of Southside High School.
As an all-around Mr. Fix-it, Jeff would help anyone with anything. Jeff was a literal star gazer, wondering what other universes may hold. He loved to take any opportunity to tell a good story or give anyone a good laugh or smile. As an avid music lover, he could turn any dashboard into a piano and name a song immediately from just a few sounds. His love for music was also matched by his immense appreciation of movies. Quoting lines, making references, and even doing spot on impressions of his favorite scenes or actors was his way of creating the movie right there for anyone. Most of all, he had a deep love for the ocean and scuba diving. He would dream of far away lands and beaches he would love to scuba dive someday and always felt at peace and one with the ocean.
Jeff is survived by his daughters Brittany Martin of Fort Smith and Hannah Dixon of Bentonville; two grandchildren, Kylie Jones of Fort Smith and Leonardo Rosete of Bentonville; his sister Lesley Dixon Scott and brother in law Gifford Scott; his brother Don Dixon of Fort Smith, as well as two nieces Stephanie Andreoli, Jessica Hrovat, and two nephews Brock Dixon and Travis Dixon. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother George Fraser Dixon.
