Jerry Blocker

Jerry O. Blocker, 64, of Fort Smith, died October 20, 2016 in Fort Smith. He was born October 18, 1952 in Fort Coffee, Oklahoma to Brosco and Mamie Elizabeth Johnson Blocker. Jerry was a retired employee of Bekaert Steel and a member of the Full Council Christian Fellowship.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Blocker of the home; two daughters, Delicia and husband Matt Watson of Fort Smith and Latricia and husband Kevin Willis of Fort Smith; four sisters, Bessie Johnson of Tacoma, WA., Alice Faye Blaine of Spiro, OK., Vallene Parker of Fort Smith and Teresa Holloway of Fountain, CO; two brothers, Carl Blocker of Selina, KS and Dale Blocker of Richardson, TX; and six grandchildren, Avondre Watson, Tracynea Watson, Destiny Watson, Jeremiah Watson, Kaylan Willis and Kevin Willis, Jr.

Funeral service will be Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Full Council Christian Fellowship in Fort Smith with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery of Fort Smith all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Parker, Jr., Dre Watson, Matt Watson, Patrick Kursh, Jr., Johnny Dixon, III, and Issac Poole, Jr.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5-7 PM.
