Jill Elizabeth Byers

Jill Elizabeth Byers, 44 of Fort Smith, formerly of Hot Springs passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 in Fort Smith. She was born July 7, 1971 in Fort Smith to the late William and Ella Byers. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was an Engineer for Baldor having earned her BS in math from Arkansas Tech and her MS in Industrial Engineering Operation Research from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She also taught college math, engineering and industry related courses for 14 years as an adjunct instructor.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Thursday January 7, 2016 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 8, 2016 at Calvary Cemetery in Fort Smith.

Jill is survived by her brother James Byers of Fort Smith, companion Roy Martinez of Hot Springs, her Aunt Jane Hartmeier of Fort Smith, her uncle Leo Cretnik of Fort Smith, her good friend Manju Kota of Hot Springs and her two furry companions Lion and Mattie.
