Joe Weldon Marchant Sr.

Joe Weldon Marchant, Sr. 69, of Fort Smith died September 5, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born September 28, 1942 in Fort Smith to Joe Wesley and Dorothy Gwendolyn Weldon Marchant. He was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone, the Air National Guard, and was a member of Crossroads Fellowship in Barling. He is survived by his wife Kay of the home; two daughters, Kathryn Marchant-Miros and husband Greg Miros of Little Rock and Stephanie and husband Charlie Vick of Fort Smith; one son, Bud Marchant of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Zach, Mack, Chauncey, Meghan, and Emily; his other four legged kids, Missy Jo, AJ, and Max and five Grand Dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Barbara Jan Dyer. Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park, all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
