Joe Patterson

Funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Friday May 25, 2012 at Edwards Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith Arkansas with burial at Roland Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Sybil Patterson; daughter Debbie Southerland; and son in law, George Southerland; son, Dennis Patterson; daughter, Leah Keele and son in law, Garry Keele; 6 grandchildren: Jeremy Southerland, Jordan Ensley, Devin Patterson, Trenton Keele, Sydney Keele, and Emily Keele; 3 great-grandchildren: Sebastien Southerland, Hudson Southerland, and Madison Keele.

Joe served in WWII in the Navy. He owned and operated Patterson’s Grocery in Muldrow for over 50 years. He was an avid bowler and loved to cheer on the Arkansas razorbacks.

Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home from 5:00 -7:00 on Thursday, May 24, 2012.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Cowan, Max Ledford, Bob Southerland, Mike McKinney, Rickey Andrews, John Harvell, Tommy Johnson, and Lecho Vann.
