John Henry Bowdler, 94 of Greenwood, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020. He was born on October 25, 1926 in Sunshine, KY to Thomas and Viola Bowdler. He was a retired supervisor for Pittsburg Plate Glass Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Elks Lodge. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Bowdler.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by two daughters, Devie Chavez of Tulsa, OK and Teresa Jennings and her husband Jimmy of Sapulpa, OK; two sisters, Betty Brittain of Oklahoma City, and Vera Ramsey of Carlsbad, NM; a brother, Anthony Bowdler and his wife Sue of Oklahoma City, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
