John B. Cook, 80, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015, in Fort Smith. He was born May 29, 1935 in Staunton, VA to the late Hal F. and Mary Cook. He was the owner of Lovett and Cook Plumbing and was in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce V. Cook.
He is survived by one daughter, Toni D. Grove and friend Bryan Bowles of Fort Smith; one son, John K. Cook and wife Stephanie of Broken Arrow, OK; eight grandchildren, George Hrenchir, Andrew Hrenchir and wife Elizabeth, Debra Looper and husband Chris, Chase, Josh, Madilyn and Dylan Cook, nine great grandchildren Nathan Conley, Alex, Dominic and Christian Looper, Caycen and Camden Cook, Leland and Matthew Hrenchir and Annie Trammell and two great-great grandchildren, Zae and Draven Lynch.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
