Jose "Joe" Angel Golonin

Jose “Joe” Angel Golonin, 59, of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed from this life into glory on July 25, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Jose Golonin and Elizabeth Bocardo Bridges. Joe was a college graduate, and extremely hard worker. He was a dedicated craftsman, but his love was over the road trucking. Having no children of his own, Joe loved being an uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and a friend to all. Joe is survived by five sisters, Mary Phillips and her late husband Spencer of Phoenix, Arizona, Pearl Southerland and husband Jim of Van Buren, Arkansas, Linda Bocardo of Chicago, Illinois, Leslie Knoetgen and husband Tim of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Nina Lombardi and her husband Anthony of Alabama, as well as many (great) nieces and (great) nephews that stretched from Arizona to Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, a niece Cassie Leigh Golonin, and a brother in law, Spencer Phillips. A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be 1:00pm Saturday, August 6, 2022 at The Refuge Ministries, 500 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas 72956. Family will visit at their home following the memorial service.
