It breaks my heart to hear of Joe's passing. He was one of my first treasured co-workers at Jim's Razorback Pizza. Not only did he keep everyone upbeat but he introduced me to so much good music. I am so happy to have known him in this life.

He fancied himself a Nick Offerman type. Took me to the range and taught me about gun safety. We used balloons for targets. I had a great time and learned a lot.

When I think of Fuchtman, I think not only of some amazing hijinks at NHS but also of his hilarious laugh and amazing singing voice. His mother was my 1st grade teacher. I hung out with him at various times over the years, both at school events and at friends’ homes, including his. Though we were not the closest of friends, it is undeniable both that he will be missed and that he had a tremendous influence. Rest in Love.

That obituary photo of Joseph is the perfect one! Joyful. While I am so sorry that he has left this planet, I know full well where he is and who he is with. We grieve, but not as those without hope. Thank you Lord for knowing and loving us!

This just started playing in my head.

When peace like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say
It is well, it is well, with my soul
It is well
With my soul
It is well, it is well with my soul
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul
It is well (it is well)
With my soul (with my soul)
It is well, it is well with my soul
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, o my soul
It is well (it is well)
With my soul (with my soul)
It is well, it is well with my soul
It is well (it is well)
With my soul (with my soul)
It is well, it is well with my soul.

Peace you all!
