Josephine Anne Pinto, "Babe", wife of the late Aurelius F. Pinto, "Howard", passed away Saturday, March, 14th at Baptist Health Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Babe was born April 10, 1923 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Angelina Liberto.

Babe attended St. Anne's Academy and subsequently graduated from Northside High School and soon married Howard, July 9, 1943. As a dedicated "Army" wife, was stationed with Howard in Austria, Germany and Texas. After 22 years, they became civilians and resided in Fort Smith. Babe, being widowed, resided for a short time in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Sherwood, Arkansas.

Babe is survived by her daughter, Annette Johnson and her spouse, Robert of Sherwood, Arkansas; her son, Thomas Pinto and his spouse, Rita of Sanford, Florida, her son, Anthony Pinto and his spouse, Donna of Carbondale, Illinois; six grandchildren, Debbie, Steve, Amy, Stephanie, Michael and Breana; six great grandchildren, Madison, Jacob, Jayce, Johnny, Nora and Teagan, as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be private. Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm Wednesday March 18, 2020 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. The family will visit with friends following the rosary. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
